THE MAGAZINE of
THE KINTYRE ANTIQUARIAN
& NATURAL HISTORY SOCIETY
WebEdition37 / January 2000 Produced Monthly
Welcome to the thirty-seventh WebEdition of The Magazine.
Have a long look at the wonderful winter photograph
of Campbeltown by Kintyre Photography - a superb photo shop for all the
moods of the town and its surrounds - and just imagine yourself ,well wrapped
up, sitting on the top of Ben Gullion and gazing at the town, and the Loch,
below. I've done it, and it's a breathtaking sight. In fact, I wish I was
there right now!
Well, we've been together now - on the 'net - for three years, and here we are entering our fourth. Janet Morrison continues her travel tale, and Dan Stevenson gives us some interesting genealogy. I'm looking forward to receiving more articles, lists, old pictures, e-mails and more from you Mag readers this year. I hope to do a wee piece myself on my mother's family, the McCormicks.
By the way, I'm using a new HTML editor to compose the Magazine, and I'm in the process of making a change or two so, if you find anything awry, please do advise me so that I can rectify the matter.
Let's have a good one.
Ca' canny.
