THE MAGAZINE
WebEdition 45 / March/April 2001
Welcome to the forty-fifth WebEdition of The Magazine.
Well, since we last gathered, I've had a guid New Year, and I've attended an excellent Burn's Supper. I've had lots of e-mails from old friends and new friends alike. The Wee Drams page is bulging, this issue, and there's something of interest in there for all of us. I hope that, should you have an answer - or know where to find one - for the folks who write in, you'll be kind enough to pass it on.
You'll have noticed that we are now on AOL. As long as there's a Magazine, this will be its new home. Also, the back issues pages are temporarily suspended until I can get them moved to their new home. Please watch this page for details.
We have two new contributors in this issue: Sandra Anderson, who sent us the article on the sinking of the Moy, and Gregg Dulaney Smith, who has sent us a McEachran family tree. Both of these lovely folks have e-mails on the Wee Drams page, and their own pages in this Magazine. Also, on her own page, is Gwen Giffen with an extremely interesting, and detailed, e-mail.
We have all shared in the sorrow of Heather MacFarlane and her family on the loss of her father Hector Lang. A celebration of his life is on page 5 of this issue.
Until the next time,
