Welcome to the Sixty-ninth WebEdition of The Magazine.

I've been getting a lot of questions about the Mag over the years, so I've added a Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQs) page to this WebEdition. Any new questions will be in later editions.

I live in Farcet, a little village in East Anglia, and we don't very often see extremes of weather however, in the last few days of February, we had some snow! What a delight! It is so picturesque. My Helen has a personal project to compile a 'Seasonal Flowers' calendar for 2006 so the snow, and the snowdrops in our garden, have given her a great start. Any ideas for her would be appreciated.

This edition features much input from Mr. William A Pursell (Willie) whom I thank from the bottom of my heart. He has brought an added depth of knowledge to this Magazine and to all of us.

You must read Willie's 'The Larch Tree' on Page 4

Also, for you McEacherns out there, have a look here http://www3.sympatico.ca/carlton.mceachern
Also see more about Carlton McEachern in the Wee Drams page

We also have a massive Wee Drams Page this edition so a big thanks to all.

Finally, Kay Staub, in an email to me, mentioned The Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness network which I'd never heard of before. It can be found at http://www.raogk.org/. It might be worth a look for all you folks who have those kind of questions. Let me know how you get on.

Until the next time

Ca' canny.
